Home made body scrub

Today, I chance upon a site that teaches on how to make home-made body scrubs.

I changed the ingredients a little from the one given in the site.

Materials:
1 whole lemon
1 cup of cane sugar
~1/3 cup of olive oil
6 drops of eucalyptus essential oils

It's really simple to make. Just pour in all the ingredients and stir!

This is my completed product. The texture should be grainy and viscous.

Tada~ My home-made body scrub!
I haven't tried it yet but I'm sure it's going to be great. For starters, it smell great already!

Update 24/2/2013:
I have used the scrub for a few times now.
Can see the home-made scrub separates quite easily so you have to stir thoroughly before use.
Also you might like to try adding lesser oil to your recipe because of the oil-sugar separation, it can get a little runny, though the sugar still remains grainy.

Running Man Paper Crafts (2)

After seeing the "Song Ji Hyo" figurine, Lawrence was so inspired he wanted to make a full set of figurines from this site.

Being more meticulous, he thinks that photo paper was too flimsy for papertoy making. So we tried printing Kwang Soo and Kang Gary on craft paper ~250gsm or so.

When he was done with the fixing, he handed it to me and said: " Kwang Soo, OUT!"
If you are a fan of Running Man, you probably know what that means. =D

It seems to be more solid this time round and it wasn't as flimsy as the "Song Ji Hyo" figurine I made.
It's his first attempt at least so... he didn't stick it really well.

His second attempt was Kang Gary which was absolutely adorable and the best of all the figurines so far!

Stay tune to more!!! We bought some solid paper to make the full set!!

Running Man Paper Crafts (1)

Recently, I chance upon this fb post on Running man paper crafts. here and I decided to try it out myself! I started out with the Running Man character: "Song Ji Hyo" template.
and printed on HP photo paper. It took almost 2 hours to piece it together! I couldn't find my pen knife anywhere and could only use the conventional method of folding the paper into half and cutting the slots for the feet and the heads. Tada~~ This is my final product!!

Not bad for a first timer at cube head crafts eh? =D
